हाइकू क्या है ?

हाइकू यूं तो जापानी काव्य बिधा है ,किन्तु हिन्दी साहित्य ने भी इसे अपना लिया है ,हाइकू काव्य मे 17 वर्ण होते हैं ,और ये तीन पंकितियों मे लिखा जाता है ,प्रथम पंक्ति मे 5 वर्ण दूसरी पंक्ति मे 7 वर्ण और तीसरी पंक्ति मे पुनः 5 वर्ण ...!!
