With this launch of delivery system the government is going to start out Aadhaar Enabled Service Delivery initiatives in 51 districts across the country

Now, the services will be linked to various government schemes such as MNREGA wage payments, PDS distribution, payment of social security benefits such as old-age payments, distribution of LPG cylinders, etc.

A number of state governments are coming ahead to roll out for these initiatives. Currently 23 crore residents have enrolled for an Aadhaar number, of which 21 crore Aadhaar numbers have already issued.

Aadhaar, is a 12-digit number, which serves as a proof of identity and address anywhere in the country. It is an online identity platform that can be accessed in real-time for authenticating beneficiaries and can be adapted by various user agencies.

केजरीवाल...एक आग...!!!

अगर आप अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी के बारे में जानना चाहते हैं, कि क्यों आज इस इंसान के पीछे सारा देश खड़ा है तो कृप्या इस लेख को जरुर पढ़े.
कहते हैं, किसी इंसान के नाम में, उसकी पूरी शक्सियत छिपी होती है. भ्रस्टाचार कि लडाई में अन्ना का साथ देने वाले अरविन्द केजरीवाल भी अब पूरे देश में छाए जा चुके हैं, 43 साल के इस शख्स को लोग सुनना चाहते हैं देखना चाहते हैं. अपने तर्कों के जरिये सरकार के तमाम दावो कि धज्जियां उड़ा देने वाले अरविन्द केजरीवाल उस युवा भारत कि तस्वीर हैं जो हमारी और आपकी किस्मत बदलने के लिए दिन रात एक कर रहा है, अरविन्द का मकसद है इस देश के सड़ चुके सिस्टम को बदलना क्योंकि इसी सिस्टम के बीच रहकर अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने बहुत बारीकी से सारी बातें समझी हैं वक्त के साथ वो खुद बदले हैं. और अब देश में शासन का मतलब बदलना चाहते हैं जिन हालातों में अरविन्द केजरीवाल को यहाँ तक पहुचाया है वो एक सबक है आखिर जिंदगी सिर्फ जीने का नाम तो नहीं है अरविन्द केजरीवाल को जीने का नया मकसद मिला IIT खड़गपुर से मेकेनिकल इंजीनियरिंग करने के बाद , देश के नामी संस्थान से इंजीनियरिंग करने के बाद अरविन्द के बहुत सारे साथी विदेश जा रहे थे नौकरी करने के लिए पैसा कमाने के लिए, लेकिन केवल 21 साल के अरविन्द के दिमाग में कुछ ऐसा चल रहा था जिसने उन्हें बाहर जाने से रोक दिया अरविन्द ने सोचा आखिर क्यों जाऊ ये मेरा देश है और मुझे इसके लिए काम करना है इसी उधेड़बुन में उन्होंने टाटा स्टील में असिस्टेंट मेनेजर की नौकरी शुरू कर ली.लेकिन यहाँ उनका मन नहीं लगा और सोचा MBA करे या सिविल सर्विसेस, और जीत दिमाग की नहीं दिल की हुयी, मन देश के लोगो में लगा था और उसका जरिया बनी सिविल सर्विसेस. 1992 में अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने सिविल सर्विसेस का इम्तिहान दिया और लिखित परीक्षा में आसानी से कामयाब भी हो गए. लेकिन एक दिन अचानक भिवानी स्थित अपने घर पहुंचे और यह कह कर सबको चोंका दिया की में कुछ दिन के लिए घर छोड़ना चाहता हूँ मेरी चिंता मत करियेगा, में जहाँ भी रहूँगा ठीक रहूँगा उनके इस फैसले से उनकी माता गीता देवी और उनके समस्त घर वाले परेशान हुए लेकिन अरविन्द नहीं माने इसी बीच अरविन्द ने काफी सोचा कहाँ जाऊ किस्से मिलूं, ठन्डे दिमाग से सोचने के बाद असम के लिए ट्रेन पकड़ी लेकिन एक जादुई सी शक्ति उन्हें खीचते हुए कोलकाता तक ले आई जब होश संभला तो अरविन्द ने अपने आप को एक लाइन में लगा पाया, वहां सेकड़ों लोग मदर टेरेसा से मिलने का इन्तेजार कर रहे थे अरविन्द की बारी आई तो उन्होंने मदर टेरेसा से सिर्फ इतना कहा की माँ में आपके साथ कुछ काम करना चाहता हूँ मदर टेरेसा ने अरविन्द का हाथ थामा और बोली जाओ कुछ दिन काली बाड़ी में काम करो कोलकाता से अरविन्द केजरीवाल का बहुत भावनात्मक रिश्ता है एक 24 साल के नौजवान में इतना बूता होता है की टाटा स्टील जैसी नामी कंपनी से इस्तीफ़ा दे दे, सिविल सर्विसेस में चुने जाने के बाद घर छोड़ दे लेकिन अरविन्द केजरीवाल तो अपनी धुन में पक्के थे एक जज्बा था जो उन्हें कोलकाता तक ले आया मदर टेरेसा के आश्रम में अरविन्द केजरीवाल करीब दो महीने तक रहे, पैदल चलते चलते कोलकाता की सारी सड़कें नाप दी, जो गरीब बेसहारा उन्हें सड़क के किनारे पड़े नज़र आते उन्हें मदर टेरेसा के आश्रम में ले आते, यहाँ अरविन्द ने सीखा की जो बीमार हैं लाइलाज हैं उन्हें भी इज्जत से मौत पाने का अधिकार है, इसलिए जब तब हो सके उसकी सेवा करो कोलकाता की गरीबी और व्यवस्था की जवाबदेही ने अरविन्द केजरीवाल को झकझोरे के रख दिया कुछ दिनों के लिए उन्होंने राम कृष्ण मिशन में अपना हाथ बढाया, घर से दूर उस एहसास को जिया की घर न होने का मतलब क्या होता है, गरीब का मतलब क्या होता है, और देश के आम नागरिक को नर्क में धकेलते जा रहे सिस्टम का मतलब क्या होता है, करीब 6 महीने तक असम और पश्चिम बंगाल में रहने के बाद उन्होंने हरियाणा में कुछ दिन नेहरु युवा केंद्र के लिए भी काम किया इस बीच घर वालों ने खोजते खोजते उन्हें ये सन्देश पहुंचा ही दिया की सिविल सर्विसेस के इन्टरवियू की तारीख आ गयी है केजरीवाल घर पहुंचे इन्टरवियू दिया और कल तक कोलकाता की गलियों की खाक छान रहा ये शख्स इंडियन रेवेन्यु सर्विसेस के लिए चुन लिया गया. केजरीवाल ने पहला पद सम्भाला देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में अब वो इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट में असिस्टेंट कमिश्नर थे, भारी भरकम पद भारी भरकम रुतबा और उम्र सिर्फ 24 साल जल्द ही केजरीवाल को एहसास हो गया की वो गलत जगह पहुच गए हैं अरविन्द अपने साथियों से लगातार अपनी चिंता के बारे में बताते रहे लेकिन सभी ने यही सलाह दी की जल्दबाजी में कोई गलत फैसला न लो. वक्त बीतता गया केजरीवाल भीतर से छट पटाते रहे लेकिन वोह इस सिस्टम का हिस्सा बनने को तैयार नहीं थे नौकरी के 8 सालो ने अरविन्द में ये समझ पैदा की कि सरकारी सिस्टम कैसा काम करता है कैसा आम आदमी कि फाईले सरकारी दफ्तरों के चक्कर काटती रहती हैं अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने बदलाब कि शुरुआत अपने घर से ही की, आयकर विभाग में फैली गंदगियों को सुधारने का बीड़ा उठाया हर किसी की जिंदगी में एक वक्त ऐसा भी आता है जिसमे लिया गया फैसला आने वाली जिंदगी तय कर देता है केजरीवाल के लिए ये वक्त था साल 2000 का एक रात ऐसे ही उन्होंने अपने भाई और अपने रिश्तेदार से 50 हज़ार रुपये उधार लिए और परिवर्तन नाम कि संस्था कि नीव रख डाली, मकसद उन लोगो कि मदद करना था जिन्हें आयकर विभाग में छोटे छोटे काम के लिए घूस देनी पड़ती है अब अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने नौकरी में रहते हुए ही बिना अपना नाम सामने लाते हुए लोगो कि मदद करना शुरू की सिर्फ डेढ़ साल में परिवर्तन ने बिना घूस दिए 800 लोगो कि शिकायतें सुलझाई और अपने सीनिअर अफसरों को ये पता तक नहीं चलने दिया कि उनके बीच का ही कोई शख्स आम आदमी को इन्साफ दिला रहा है हांलाकि कुछ महीने बाद ही केजरीवाल को एहसास हो गया कि नौकरी और परिवर्तन दोनों एक साथ नहीं चल सकते हर तरफ भ्रस्टाचार था हर विभाग में भ्रस्टाचार था जो लोग पहले दलालों के पास जाते थे वोह अब बिजली, पानी, राशन कार्ड कि दिक्कतें लेकर उनके पास आने लगे, अरविन्द केजरीवाल को यहाँ जिंदगी का दूसरा और अहम् सबक मिला लोगो को खुद अपने अधिकारों के लिए लड़ना होगा संस्थाएं फौरी तौर पर तो मदद कर सकती हैं लेकिन समस्या को जड़ से ख़त्म करने के लिए आम आदमी को ही आगे आना होगा. इस हालात में अब आगे क्या अरविन्द केजरीवाल इस सवाल से उलझ ही रहे थे कि 2001 में दिल्ली सरकार ने सूचना का अधिकार कानून पास कर दिया. सूचना का अधिकार केजरीवाल के लिए बड़ी उम्मीद लेकर आया लेकिन जब अपने इस अधिकार के जरिये उन्होंने कुछ महकमों से जानकारी मांगी तो जबाब मिला कि महकमों को कानून का पता ही नहीं है दरअसल सरकार ने कानून बना तो दिया लेकिन उसे अमल में लाने के आदेश जारी ही नहीं किये. बिना तनख्वा के छुट्टी पर चल रहे अरविन्द केजरीवाल धरने पर बैठ गए, दबाब में आई सरकार को आखिरकार नोटिस जारी करना पड़ा अब केजरीवाल के पास अब तक का सबसे बड़ा हथियार था. दो साल से बिजली कन्नेक्शन नहीं लगा RTI डालो दस दिन में बिजली कन्नेक्शन लगेगा राशन कार्ड नहीं बना RTI डालो राशन कार्ड घर देकर जायेंगे वो भी बिना घूस. अरविन्द केजरीवाल ने घर -घर जाकर सुचना के अधिकार कानून के बारे में लोगों को समझाना शुरू किया जो अफसर फंसते वो उनका विरोध भी करते लेकिन बुलंद होंसले वाला इस शख्स ने कभी परवाह नहीं की जब एक दिन उनके एक साथी का गला काट दिया गया तब केजरीवाल को हकीकत का अंदाजा हुआ अगर सूचना का अधिकार कानून उन आम आदमी की मदद करता है तो हमारा ताकतवर सिस्टम उसका उतना ही विरोध भी करता है . केजरीवाल ने हिम्मत नहीं हारी वो लोगों को RTI एक्ट का फायदा उठाने के लिए समझाते रहे, लोगों में परिवर्तन होता उन्हें दिखा भी, 2004 के आसपास का वक्त था जब सियासी हलकों और प्रशासनिक अमलें, केजरीवाल को आयकर विभाग के जोइंट कमिश्नर के पद से ज्यादा एक RTI कार्यकर्ता के बारे में जाना जाने लगा, कुछ महीनो बाद ही केजरीवाल ने नौकरी के बंधन से मुक्ति पा ली, जब जंग लड़ना ही तो बंधन क्यों उन्होंने अपना आन्दोलन जारी रखा और कहा की सूचना का अधिकार पुरे देश में लागू किया जाये, आम आदमी के बीच जाकर केजरीवाल ने RTI एक्ट के समर्थन में माहोल बनाना शुरू कर दिया, नतीजा ये की आखिरकार साल 2005 में संसद ने सुचना का अधिकार पास कर दिया, केजरीवाल के कारण अब देश के आम आदमी के पास इतनी ताकत थी की वो अफसरों की नींद कुछ देर के लिए ही सही, उड़ा सकती थी, उनको जबाबदेह बना सकती थी. केजरीवाल ने शहर- शहर जाकर नौजवानों को इस कानून की बारीकियां समझायी, इस आन्दोलन की सफलता के चलते केजरीवाल को साल 2005 में मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार से नवाजा गया, CNN IBN ने उन्हें साल 2006 में इंडियन ऑफ द इयर का अवार्ड भी दिया. लेकिन परिवर्तन की जिद में केजरीवाल आगे ही बढते गए, मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार से मिले 45 लाख रुपये से उन्होंने एक दूसरी संस्था खडी कर दी नाम दिया पब्लिक कोंज रिसर्च फोंडेसन, संस्था देश भर के लोगो को RTI ACT व् तमाम दुसरे कानूनों से जुडी जानकारियों के बारे में समझाने का काम करती है
अगर एक कानून ने केजरीवाल की जिंदगी बदल डाली, तो वो अब जन लोकपाल के जरिये देश को बदलना चाहते है और उसके लिए आपका साथ चाहते है.

मौसम का अर्थ है किसी स्थान विशेष पर, किसी खास समय, वायुमंडल की स्थिति। यहाँ “स्थिति” की परिभाषा कुछ व्यापक परिप्रेक्ष्य में की जाती है। उसमें अनेक कारकों यथा हवा का ताप, दाब, उसके बहने की गति और दिशा तथा बादल, कोहरा, वर्षा, हिमपात आदि की उपस्थिति और उनकी परस्पर अंतः क्रियाएं शामिल होती हैं। ये अंतक्रियाएं ही मुख्यतः किसी स्थान के मौसम का निर्धारण करती हैं। यदि किसी स्थान पर होने वाली इन अंतःक्रियाओं के लंबे समय तक उदाहरणार्थ एक पूरे वर्ष तक, अवलोकन करके जो निष्कर्ष निकाला जाता हैं तब वह उस स्थान की “जलवायु” कहलाती है। मौसम हर दिन बल्कि दिन में कई बार बदल सकता है। पर जलवायु आसानी से नहीं बदलती। किसी स्थान की जलवायु बदलने में कई हजार ही नहीं वरन् लाखों वर्ष भी लग सकते हैं। इसीलिए हम ‘बदलते मौसम’ की बात करते हैं, ‘बदलती हुई जलवायु’ की नहीं। हम मौसम के बारे में ही समाचार-पत्रों में पढ़ते हैं, रेडियों पर सुनते हैं और टेलीविजन पर देखते हैं।

मौसम लोगों को तेवर से लेकर इतिहास तक को प्रभावित कर सकता है जबकि जलवायु किसी जीवधारी के समूचे वंश को प्रभावित कर सकती है। जलवायु में होने वाले परिवर्तन जीव-जंतुओं के समूचे वंशों को ही समाप्त कर सकते हैं। अतीत में ऐसा अनेक बार हुआ भी है। ये परिवर्तन हिमयुगों के आगमन अथवा उनके समापन जैसी बड़ी घटनाओं के फलस्वरूप बहुत धीरे-धीरे ही प्रगट होते हैं।

यह निर्विवाद तथ्य है कि किसी स्थान का मौसम ही अंततः उस स्थान या क्षेत्र की जलवायु का निर्माण करता है। लंबे समय तक चलने वाला मौसम ही जलवायु का रूप ले लेता है। उदाहरणार्थ उत्तर भारत में गर्मी की ऋतु में जलवायु गर्म और शुष्क रहती है, वर्षा गर्मी के अंत में होती है और सर्दियों में जलवायु ठंडी और शुष्क रहती है। हमारे तटीय प्रदेशों में जलवायु लगभग वर्ष भर गर्म और नम रहती है। इसका अर्थ यह नहीं है कि गर्मी में और सर्दी के महीनों में वर्षा कभी भी नहीं होती। उस वर्षा से सर्दी या गर्मी में मौसम बदल सकता है- जलवायु नहीं।

दुनियाभर के सुपरकंप्यूटरों को पीछे छोड़ते हुए अमरीकी कंपनी आईबीएम की ‘सिक्वोया’ सबसे तेज कंप्यूटरों की सूची में पहले स्थान पर पहुंच गया है..

आईबीएम के नए सुपरकंप्यूटर ने जापान के फूजित्सु कंपनी द्वारा निर्मित सुपरकंप्यूटर ‘के कंप्यूटर’ को पछाड़कर द्वितीय स्थान पर पटक दिया है.

दो साल पहले चीन के एक सुपरकंप्यूटर से पिछड़ने के बाद ये पहली बार है जब अमरीका इस सूची में पहले स्थान पर पहुंचा है.
सिक्वोया का इस्तेमाल परमाणु हथियारों के संरक्षण से जुड़े प्रयोगों में किया जाएगा. उम्मीद की जा रही है कि इसकी मदद से असली परमाणु हथियारों पर असली प्रयोग करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी.
इसे कैलिफॉर्निया के एक सरकारी लैब में स्थापित किया गया है.

अगर इस सुपरकंप्यूटर के गति की बात करें तो, ये इतना तेज है कि जितनी गिनती ये एक घंटे में कर लेता है उतना 6.7 अरब लोग हाथ में कैलकुलेटर लेकर 320 वर्षो तक पूरा नहीं कर सकते.
दूसरे देशों की बात करे तो चीन और जर्मनी के पास दो-दो सुपरकंप्यूटर है जबकि जापान, फ्रांस और इटली के पास एक-एक है.

अमरीकी सुपरकंप्यूटर सिक्वोया जापान की के कंप्यूटर के मुकाबले बिजली की भी कम खपत करती है. जहां के कंप्यूटर को 12.6 मेगावॉट बिजली की जरूरत होती है वहीं, सिक्वोया सिर्फ 7.9 मेगावॉट में चलती है.
सबसे तेज कंप्यूटरों की सूची हर छह महीने में जर्मनी के प्रोफेसर हांस म्यूर और अमरीकी प्रोफेसर जैक डॉंगेरा संयुक्त रूप से जारी करते है.
बीबीसी से बात करते हुए प्रोफेसर जैक डॉंगेरा ने कहा की आईबीएम के सिक्वोया को अगले एक साल तक पछाड़ पाना नामुमकिन जैसा है.

Who is the most popular Indian after Mahatma Gandhi? An SMS doing rounds in the diamond city is hinting that it is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Surtis, especially people in business hubs in the city, have been receiving an SMS asking them to give a missed call on a 10-digit number if they agree that Sardar Patel's image should replace Mahatma's on Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes.

Gandhi’s monopoly in Indian rupee to end :

Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the nation has been on every Indian rupee printed by India government since 1997. It was in 1987 that Gandhi’s image was first printed only on five hundred rupee notes. Now RBI is planning to change the note design by getting other national leaders on board for different denominations.

This led to RBI to have relook at the currency design. Recently India went in for a symbol for the rupee which is now used in cheque books and documents. Late national leaders Nehru, Dr Ambedkar, Indira Gandhi and many more are in the list.

Opening up this matter could lead to demands from various sections of society to include their choice of leaders, many feel. Even though Gandhians might object, many still feel that Gandhiji known for his austerity was not the correct choice for the rupee.

The use of rupee even for illegal activities and funding terrorism has made Gandhi the wrong man to be be on the notes. But same as it also applied for sardar patel too. So changing the image will change the flow of money in right direction ????..........:)

- अल्ट्रावायलेट किरणों में देखने पर असली नोट के लगभग हर हिस्से में नीले रंग के डॉट्स बने नजर आते हैं। जबकि नकली नोट को यदि सूर्य की रौशनी में देखा जाए तो उसमें ब्लू डॉट्स नदारद होते हैं।
- 500 या 1000 रूपए के असली नोटों को क्षैतिज तल में देखने पर नोट पर मुद्रित अंक स्पष्ट दिखाई देते हैं।

The number of bits used to represent each pixel determines how many colors or shades of gray can be displayed.... For example, in 8-bit color mode, the color monitor uses 8 bits for each pixel, making it possible to display 2 to the 8th power (256) different colors or shades of gray....

On color monitors, each pixel is actually composed of three dots -- a red, a blue, and a green one.... Ideally, the three dots should all converge at the same point, but all monitors have some convergence error that can make color pixels appear fuzzy....

The quality of a display system largely depends on its resolution, how many pixels it can display, and how many bits are used to represent each pixel.... VGA systems display 640 by 480, or about 300,000 pixels.... In contrast, SVGA systems display 800 by 600, or 480,000 pixels.... True Color systems use 24 bits per pixel, allowing them to display more than 16 million different colors....

Why every clock or watch shows 10:10 in every advertisement??

When we see a watch ad, we will mostly likely look at a watch showing 10:10 in their face. Almost many watch ads follow this, no matter what company it belongs to. I have been wondering why is it so. Here are the reasons people say,

1) Symmetrical Look: When the watch is at 10:10 we get a vertical symmetry in the face of the clock. But we get the same with 9:45 or8:20 or some other time. Then why is it 10:10 ?

2) Smiley Look: When we look at a watch at 10:10, we see as if the watch is smiling. It is better to have a smiling face, rather than having a crying face when the time is at 8:20. Well that is one good reason, since it enlightens peoples mind while looking at the ad.

3) Victory: When the clock is at 10:10, the hands are similar to the letter "v" which symbolises victory. May not be the actual reason, but we can say this as one of the reasons.

4) Abraham Lincoln: Many say that it is due to Abraham Lincoln died at that time and so the watches are showing 10:10. But some say that, Lincoln is shot at night at around 10:15, and died in the next day morning at around 7:22. So this ain't the correct the reason.

5) Visibility: When the hands are at 10:10, we have the makers name and other details (if any) clearly visible when they are placed at above or below the center.

6) First Watch: Some say that first watch is made/completed at that time. But why are most companies adopting it ? and in fact clocks are been around for many 100s of years. So this aint the reason.

7) Hiroshima and Nagasaki Attack: Few say, it is because during that time, first atomic bomb was used and in remembrance of all the victimes, all unused clocks or the clocks which are presented in show-cases have the same time of 10:10. But it seems the practise of 10:10 has been in there from 1920s. So I doubt this also.

So seeing all this, visibility along with symmetry, smiling face and victory seems to be a good reason for most watch companies , to show 10:10 in watches during their ads.

परचेजिंग पावर पेरिटी (पीपीपी)से मतलब दो देशों में किसी वस्तु या सेवा की कीमत से है। अर्थात किन्ही दो देशों में किसी वस्तु या सेवा की कीमत का अंतर क्या है इस बात का पता परचेजिंग पावर पेरिटी से लगाया जाता है।

यह करेंसी एक्सचेंज रेट तय करने में भी भूमिका निभाता है। पीपीपी से किसी देश की अर्थव्यवस्था के आकार का पता लगाया जाता है। पीपीपी का मतलब है कि एक डॉलर में दुनिया के किसी देशमें एक बराबर सामान खरीदे जा सकते हैं और कीमतों में अंतर के मुताबिक संबंधित देश की करेंसी की वैल्यू में बदलाव किया जाता है।

Surjeet, currently being held in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, has been in Pakistani captivity for over 30 years. He was captured near the border with India on charges of spying during the era of military ruler Zia-ul-Haq.

Sarabjit, 49, who too is being held at Kot Lakhpat, was sentenced to death for alleged involvement in a string of blasts in Punjab province in 1990. Bombardier To Supply Metro Bogies For Adelaide From Savli

Bogies manufactured in Gujarats small town - Savli - will now ensure that commuters in South Australian capital city,Adelaide,enjoy a comfortable ride in what will be Australias most modern trains.From Savli,1250 metro bogies have already become part of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for commuters of countrys national capital.
Bombardier Transportation India will start exports of Bombardier Flexx Metro 3001 bogies from its Savli site,where the multinational had started a wholly owned railway vehicle manufacturing facility three years back.
Bombardier Transportation had won an order from the Government of South Australia in March 2011 for supply and maintenance of 25kV electric trains to be delivered as three-car sets.
While the rail cars will be built at Bombardiers Dandenong (Victoria) and Maryborough (Queensland) manufacturing facilities in Australia,the Savli site will manufacture and supply semifinished Metro 3001 bogies for this vehicles.The new rail cars designed for Adelaide will form 240-seat trains with stateof-the-art technology including Mitrac propulsion and control system and Flexx bogies developed by Bombardier.
These vehicles to be used for Adelaides suburban railway network,locally as A-City will be the first rail vehicles in Australia that will meet new international crash standard specifications.
This first export order to be manufactured at Savli comes only three years after the start of commercial production in June 2009.In addition to catering to the Indian market,the Savli site is set to develop export activities around the region.With 33 million euro investment,we employ nearly 700 highly skilled team members and indirectly generate around 3,000 jobs in Vadodara region, chief country representative of Bombardier Transportation India Harsh Dhingra told TOI.
This has made Vadodara the only city in the world with the capacity to deliver all key electrical and mechanical components for the manufacturing of railway vehicles, said Dhingra.
Exports are expected to start in the last quarter of 2012 with completion of deliveries in the second quarter of 2014.
The Savli site of Bombardier is capable of producing 1,500 assembled bogies a year.

What i heard is "Del", the unit of pain measurement. It is measured by MRI scan....

British scientists say they have for the first time developed a way to use brain scans to objectively measure the levels of pain felt by patients.

Using magnetic resonance imaging, researchers have found distinct differences between the brains of people who are experiencing pain and those who are not. That means doctors may have a way to measure suffering based on something other than asking patients how they are feeling, The Sunday Times of London reported.

"Pain seems to increase the blood flow to certain parts of the brain, roughly in proportion to the amount of pain felt, and we can measure that activation in a brain scan," Irene Tracey, professor of anaesthetic science at Oxford University, told the newspaper.

She and her colleagues reportedly have found the brain employs a "pain matrix" wherein physical suffering typically activates more than a dozen parts of the brain -- a distinct contrast with other senses such as vision or hearing that only stimulate just one part of the brain.

The Sunday Times said the findings indicate pain could one day be measured objectively, a development that would have big legal and social implications.

मूँगा, जिसे कोरल और मिरजान भी कहते हैं, एक प्रकार का नन्हा समुद्री जीव है जो लाखों-करोड़ों की संख्या में एक समूह में रहते हैं। मूँगे की बहुत सी क़िस्मों में, यह जीव अपने इर्द-गिर्द एक बहुत ही सख़्त शंख बना लेते है, जिसके अन्दर वह रहता है। जब ऐसे हजारों-लाखों नन्हे और बेहद सख़्त शंख एक दुसरे से चिपक कर समूह में बनते हैं, तो उस समूह की सख़्ती और स्पर्श लगभग पत्थर जैसा होता है। समुद्र में कई स्थानों पर मूंगे की बड़े क्षेत्र पर फैली हुई शृंखलाएं बन जाती हैं, जिन्हें रीफ़ कहा जाता है। किसी भी मूंगे के समूह में हर एक मूंगे और उसके शंख को वैज्ञानिक भाषा में "पॉलिप" कहते हैं।
मूँगा गरम समुन्दरों में ही उगता है और अलग-अलग रंगों में मिलता है। लाल और गुलाबी रंगों के मूँगे के क़ीमती पत्थर को पत्थर की ही तरह तराश और चमका कर ज़ेवरों में इस्तेमाल किया जाता है। इनके सब से लोकप्रिय रंग को भी मूँगा (रंग) कहा जाता है।

अंग्रेजी में मूँगे को "कोरल" (coral) कहते हैं
अरबी और फ़ारसी में मूँगे को "मिरजान" (مرجان) कहते हैं
तुर्की में मूँगे को "मेरचान" (mercan) कहते हैं

The name for the dwarf planet Pluto was suggested by an 11 year old girl...!!
The girl was Venetia Burney of Oxford, England. Venetia’s great uncle, Science Master of Eton Henry Madan, in 1877 suggested the name for the two dwarf moons of Mars, Deimos and Phobos (fear/panic and dread/ terror). This was referencing the fact that Deimos and Phobos were twin brothers, the children of the god Ares (Mars in Roman mythology), specifically being the offspring of Ares and Aphrodite. Because an 11 year old girl suggested the name Pluto and the Disney dog, Pluto, first appeared around the same time, it has given rise to the myth that Venetia came up with the name after the cartoon dog. Thermo-mechanical treatment (TMT), is a metallurgical process that integrates work hardening and heat-treatment into a single process.

The quenching process produces a high strength bar from inexpensive low carbon steel. The process quenches the surface layer of the bar, which pressurizes and deforms the crystal structure of intermediate layers, and simultaneously begins to temper the quenched layers using the heat from the bar's core.

Steel billets 125mm² are heated to approximately 1100°C in a reheat furnace. Then, they are progressively rolled to reduce the billets to the final size and shape of reinforcing bar. After the last rolling stand, the billet moves through a quench box. The quenching converts the billet's surface layer to martensite, and causes it to shrink. The shrinkage pressurizes the core, helping to form the correct crystal structures. The core remains hot, and austenitic. A microprocessor controls the water flow to the quench box, to manage the temperature difference through the cross-section of the bars. The correct temperature difference assures that all processes occur, and bars have the necessary mechanical properties.

The bar leaves the quench box with a temperature gradient through its cross section. As the bar cools, heat flows from the bar's centre to its surface so that the bar's heat and pressure correctly tempers an intermediate ring of martensite and bainite.
Finally, the slow cooling after quenching automatically tempers the austenitic core to ferrite and pearlite on the cooling bed.

BLACK HOLE:

Around a black hole there is a mathematically defined surface called an event horizon that marks the point of no return. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits the horizon, reflecting nothing, just like a perfect black body in thermodynamics...Quantum mechanics predicts that black holes emit radiation like a black body with a finite temperature. This temperature is inversely proportional to the mass of the black hole, making it difficult to observe this radiation for black holes of stellar mass or greater

BLACK HOLE COUGHT EATING STARS:
A super massive black hole has been caught in the act of swallowing up a red giant star. ASTRONOMERS HAVE WITNESSED a rare galactic homicide: a super massive black hole devouring an orbiting star that ventured just a little too close. Such events only occur once every 10,000 years and scientists from the USA were fortunate enough to catch the star's demise in action.
Lurking in the centre of a galaxy some 2.7 billion light-years from Earth, this super massive black hole has finally broken its fast by shredding and devouring a red giant star.
The team was looking for a bright flare in ultraviolet light from the nucleus of a galaxy, which is a lingering clue that a black hole has consumed a star. Instead, they discovered an active black hole in the process of consuming a star. The brightness of the glow indicates that the black hole contains three million times as much mass as our own Sun, making it about the same size as the black hole at the centre of the Milky Way.

If a star passes too close to a black hole, it is ripped apart by gravitational forces. Its constituent gases then swirl in toward the black hole generating heat and light before being sucked into the abyss. It is this glow that astronomers search for in their quest to catch an active black hole in the act of consuming a star.
