# THE MARK 1 COMPUTER(1937-1944):- 

This was the first fully automatic calculating machine designed by Howard A. Aiken whose design was based on the techniques of punching card machinery.

# THE ATANASOFF-BERRY COMPUTER(1939-1942):- 

This computer was developed by Dr. John Atanasoff to solve certain mathematical equations. It used 45 vacuum tubes for internal logic and capacitors for storage.

#THE E.N.I.A.C.(1943-1946):- 

Electronic Numerical Integrator And Calculator was the first electronic general-purpose computer. And was developed for military need and was used for many years to solve ballistic problems.

# THE E.D.V.A.C.(1946-1952):- 

One of the drawbacks of ENIAC was that its program were wired on boards which made it difficult to change the program. To overcome the drawbacks of ENIAC, Electronic Discrete Variable Automatic Computer(EDVAC) was designed.

# THE E.D.S.A.C.(1947-1949):- 

Professor Maurice Wilkes developed Electronic Delay Storage Automatic Calculator (EDSAC). In this machine, addition and mulltiplication operartion were accomplished.

#THE U.N.I.V.A.C. 1(1951):- 

The UNIVersal Automatic Computer I(UNIVAC) was first digital computer, which was installed in the Census Beurau in 1951 and was used continously for 10 years.
