Artificial blood created from stem cells could be tested on Britons within two years. Artificial blood is basic filler for the human cardiovascular system used in some medical procedures or to treat certain conditions. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.
Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions :

S * Ask the individual to SMILE ..
T * = TALK. Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (eg 'It is sunny out today').
R * Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS .

If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call the ambulance and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

NOTE : Another 'sign' of a stroke is
1. Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue.
2. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other that is also an indication of a stroke.

आज मैं चौराहे पर खड़ा था तो देखा वह पर खड़ा बच्चा 2-2 रूपये में तिरंगा बेच रहा था...आने-जाने वाले लोग गाड़ी का शीशा निचा कर तिरंगा खरीद कर शान से अपनी गाड़ी के डेशबोर्ड पर लगा रहे थे..।

तभी तेज रफ़्तार से आई एक लग्जरी गाड़ी रुकी और आज का आधुनिक वर्ग का प्रतीक युवा ने शीशा निचे कर तिरंगा देने को कहा...बच्चे बोला - 2 रूपये में एक तिरंगा...!!

युवक के पास खुल्ले पैसे नही थे...उसने 5 रूपये की बीयर की खाली बोतल देते हुए 2 तिरंगे देने को कहा...!!!
इसके बाद जो वाक्यांश वो नन्हा बोल गया उसके लिए मेरे पास शब्द नहीं हैं...!!
उसने कहा तिरंगा देश की आन-बान- शान का प्रतीक है...एक भी तिरंगा नही बिका तो रात को भूखा सो लूँगा...लेकिन बीयर की बोतल के बदले तिरंगा नही बेचूंगा...?

खिचड़ी की कहानी:
है कि खिलजी के आक्रमण के समय नाथ योगियों को खिलजी से संघर्ष के कारण भोजन बनाने का समय नहीं मिल पाता था। इससे योगी अक्सर भूखे रह जाते थे और कमज़ोर हो रहे थे। इस समस्या का हल निकालने के लिए बाबा गोरखनाथ ने दाल, चावल और सब्जी को एक साथ पकाने की सलाह दी। यह व्यंजन काफी पौष्टिक और स्वादिष्ट था। इससे शरीर को तुरंत उर्जा भी मिलती थी। नाथ योगियों को यह व्यंजन काफी पसंद आया। बाबा गोरखनाथ ने इस व्यंजन का नाम खिचड़ी रखा। झटपट बनने वाली खिचड़ी से नाथयोगियों की भोजन की समस्या का समाधान हो गया और खिलजी के आतंक को दूर करने में वह सफल रहे। खिलजी से मुक्ति मिलने के कारण गोरखपुर में मकर संक्रांति को विजय दर्शन पर्व के रूप में भी मनाया जाता है...!!!

# यह बात ज्यादा माईने नहीं रखती कि किसी त्यौहार को मनाने के पीछे क्या कहानी छुपी हैं..पर हर त्यौहार एक नया सीख लेने का पैगाम ले आता...!!!

How to make 3-D Glass manually..??

The basic 3D glasses are available for around 99 ¢ on eBay but if you want them right now, you can build your own using a spare CD jewel case and some permanent marker pens.

Just scribble the transparent side of the jewel case with red and blue marker pens* large enough to cover the width of your eyes. The blue (or cyan) color lens is for the right eye while the red color will cover the left eye.

Alternatively, you may use an existing pair of sun-glasses and replace the lenses with colored sheets of transparent plastic. Or pick an old pair of eyeglasses and fill the left and right lenses with red and blue permanent markers respectively.

I tried using water colors instead of permanent markers but that didn’t work. Same was the case with sketch pens so stick with permanent markers.
