Won Australian Open Mixed Doubles in 2006
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ONE ON ONE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No player is bigger than the game or the country. They have to play for national pride by keeping their personal preferences and differences aside. No sport allows its players to keep their egos & attitide over the nation. Then why was the option of chosing a partner left open for the players??
As per the ranking and current performances, Leander undoubtedly had to be the first choice in the doubles team. But who would partner him should have been sealed months ago. Obviously, the 2 pursued other options with their respective game-plans to play the Olympics….Rest is history.

Lea-Hesh ugly fight pitching Leander Paes on one side and Mahesh Bhupathi-Bopanna on the other side, has not only created an environment of intrigue and suspicion but has also demeaned people associated with tennis............................
THUS AS THEY HELD COUNTRY @ 2 RANSOM LESSON MUST B LEARNT 2 AVOID THIS IN FUTURE
-----------------------------------------------------------------
SO THAT THERE IS NEVER A CASE OF MAKING An IMAGE OF SELFISH PRO PLAYER out of a PATRIOTIC SELF DEVOTING (PAES is LEGEND...)
